Our journey started within the whistleblowing compliance sector, highlighted by the award-winning Whistleblower Software by Formalize, laying the foundation of our success story.

The initial chapter concerned whistleblowing compliance and meeting regulations. Along the way, we established strong partnerships and a base of satisfied customers. Our commitment was recognised through the best customer support, which earned us a reputation as a customer-centric pioneer. But now, we have extended our expertise to a larger compliance universe, including data compliance, risk, and privacy.

Formalize helps companies effortlessly navigate and stay ahead in the ever-changing compliance landscape. Our platform adapts to regulatory changes to meet and foresee our users' evolving needs, ensuring businesses remain compliant and confident in their operations.

Formalize is a tech company founded in 2021 and one of the fastest-growing SaaS scale-ups. We started the company with our Whistleblower Software but have since expanded our portfolio with our GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Software; Formalize. Both softwares serve their own purpose within the legal tech sector.

We are highly dedicated, passionate, and always ready to learn from each other. We foster an international and dynamic workplace where diverse perspectives pave the way for great ideas. We Lead with Transparency

We strive for maximum transparency in everything we do. A great example of our commitment to transparency is our Weekly All-Hands meeting, where all employees come together for updates from each department and to discuss upcoming goals. Here topics such as financial insights and dashboards from the different departments will be shared for everyone to see.

Social Events

We foster friendly and personal relationships among colleagues through team events, sports activities, and Friday bars. These relationships often extend beyond the professional level, offering the opportunity to get to know each other better on a personal level away from the daily work routine. We also bring our offices together as much as possible to create a feeling of togetherness. For example, this year, we held our Summit 2024 in Aarhus for two days with workshops, activities around the city, and a big party to close everything off on the last day.

Office First Culture

At Formalize, we believe in building teams of people who fundamentally prefer to work together in person in an office, sharing knowledge, spending time with each other, and appreciating being physically connected to other people during the workday. This doesn’t mean that people cannot work from home, but each team, in agreement with their respective manager, has its work-from-home policy.

  • The software that started the company. Late 2019 the EU decided to pass the Whistleblower Protection Directive to protect employees who want to report unlawful behaviour. Whistleblower Software soon became the highest-rated whistleblowing platform on the market, according to users on software rating platform G2. The software allows organizations to easily customize reporting page and manage whistleblowing cases while giving employees a secure way to submit their reports confidentially or anonymously. Whistleblower Software has the highest level of security backed by certifications, metadata removal and end-to-end encryption. Some of the most popular features are two-way communication with whistleblowers, customizability, unlimited cases, users and 70+ languages supported. The software is designed for ease of use and aligns with legal whistleblowing standards across the world.

  • The software that has taken the company to new heights. Formalize is a compliance operations platform that helps companies to enhance their compliance and simplify the workload. Formalize streamlines tasks like data governance, risk management, audits, and much more across various regulations and standards (e.g., DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, and more). Some of the features include dashboard reporting, supplier audit automations, risk management module, and customizable workflows, helping businesses efficiently meet regulatory requirements and maintain secure compliance processes.

  • We currently have several part-timers in the organization and will continue to have so in the future. Typically these positions will be for our different departments in Legal, Marketing, People, Product, Customer Success, and Finance.
